Keeping it simple

This Wednesday will "unofficially" mark the end of poly life for me. Been some great & worst experience for the past 3 years. Gained some, lost some. But for sure, I've made some really good friends out there.

Its been a long long time since I last blogged, trying to get back the vibe of blogging as I'm typing every single word now. March will be pretty packed for me, with more than half a month not in Singapore (i will definitely miss you). Heading off to Phuket, Bangkok & perhaps Langkawi. How orhsome!!

Side tracking, I've submitted my applications to NUS. Hopefully to get a placement in the field that I wish to venture into, nothing to do with the current course albeit. I was looking through all the uni courses and their cut off point, it was hell-ridifuckingculous. You need at least 3.8 of GPA to get into any business related courses in NUS?

That aside, 3.5 GPA for nursing and that was the "lowest" cut off point. God, just find it a little unfair about the criteria for poly students as compared to others.

We, poly students,
- Pay higher bus fare
- Burn midnight oil for projects & assignments
- Spend more on food cos there's not SGD2 chicken rice
- Take 3 years to complete a course (mostly)
- Think of what to wear each day

& the criteria for entrance into almost all local U is so tough. I guess many of us will just have to go overseas, like how other nationality come to Singapore & to fight for placement in local Us.
At this stage, most of us will be thinking of what to do with life.

For guys, wait for enlistment and during that period of time, most probably work.
For ladies, waiting for admission to uni, and during the waiting period, work as well. Dad was asking me a few days back what am I going to do while waiting for enlistment.

I thought about it for awhile.... and told him:

Relax & enjoy life like a boss.
